What was the highlight of SeaGarden Beach Resort

Lovely resort, but some staff will make someone not want to come back.

The resort grounds are beautiful. The private beach area, pool area, and cleanliness of the rooms and resort were great. Dining staff were ok. Bartender Faye in the pool area was excellent. Ritchie in the front desk was great.

Some of the front desk staff need to be trained on how to show kindness and customer service. The only good staff person from the front desk that I came into contact with was a young man named Richie who was attentive and courteous. If management will train the staff on the importance of customer service, Seagarden could be one of the best resorts in Montego Bay.

The resort was out dated. At one point we didn't have hot water to take a shower with.

The beach club, breakfast - the omlette was really jummie. Good for a good night sleep after flying in in Montego Bay.

Overall our stay was great! The food was great! The staff was great! I don’t know if there are rules on changing the tow

The proximity to the beach and airport was excellent. I felt secure, the security guards were thorough and I loved the full course meals.

A bit dated, it needs upgrading in the main building and rooms. There was no carpet on the floors and no extra shower mat for the bathroom floor to put your feet on once out of the shower. I couldn’t imagine how a person with OCD would feel. I had to use one of the face towels for that and noticed that the housekeeper picked it up and placed it on the tub daily without changing it. She also took one of the dry off towels and said she would replace it later that day, but never did until our final night. The dirty towels remained with the clean one placed on top. Other than that, for the price it was great!

The food was to die for! i love that food was available right round the clock, at 11 PM i was able to get finger food to eat. my only disappointment was i never got my room decorated as it was my birthday and i requested the decoration. , but my overall experience was great. it was a thumbs up would really suggest it to a friend or family.

maybe i would get a a larger room so i could get the garden view and i hate that there wasnt no beach and the pool was just okay.

All Inclusive Was Great!

This place is literally 5 mins from the airport. You could actually walk to it if you wanted haha. We always go to dead end beach as soon as we arrive and I happened to see this hotel a little further down. Its all inclusive and that made our day. The pool is super deep, which was a nice change from the 4ft pools at other hotels. They had authentic jamaican meals and amazing options for breakfast. The drinks are always on point. The icing on the cake is the beach is right across the street, and your all inclusive meals and drinks are available on the beach as well. Staff are awesome, friendly and the entertainment was lively. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay there.

The room was outdated, smelled like mold, the windows had condensation and the bathroom was wierdly situation by having to step up into it. I would stay again but next time I'd try to secure a better room.

I will definitely be going back and I have told several of my friends to go there.

Breakfast was very tasty

I didn't like the fact that we didn't have enough drawer spaces for our clothes, just 2 wasn't enough. Also entertainment wasn't what I expected when we first got there but picked up. Loved the male and female MC's.

What was the highlight of SeaGarden Beach Resort

You must understand when travelling to Jamaica (which in many ways, is still a developing country), that the standard for hotels is very different than what you expect from vacation towns in North America or the UK. That said, The SeaGarden Beach Resort, which is owned and run by a local Jamaican family, can hold its own by any standards. The property and old colonial buildings are BEAUTIFUL and they have done (and are continuing to do) a lot of great restoration work, keeping the historical charm, but infusing it with a contemporary Jamaican flair. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcomed us as part of the family. We were there only one night (far too short a stay) and yet many of the staff greeted us by name. The private waterfront area is really lovely. There were beautiful gazebos, plenty of different seating options, a small white sand beach, a water-front grill and protected swimming areas. (This resort is located within easy access of the airport and the very busy Montego Bay, so you won't find secluded, sprawling beaches. Still, this waterfront was just beautiful.) The food was delicious and plentiful. There was always a mix of traditional Jamaican dishes and western dishes as well as a never ending supply of the most flavourful melons, pineapple, bananas and fruit juices. If you are traveling to Montego Bay, I would not hesitate in recommending the SeaGarden Beach Resort, especially as it supports local economy.

I love the location of this property and the beach is beautiful. It was great to watch the planes flying into the airport from the beach. The staff food and entertainment are excellent. As a Jamaican living abroad I love this place because you get local food.
